Many clothing brands still use child labour in third world countries, they outsource labour, often that means children will be forced into labour.
The Campaign was based around children asking “why?”. The way that kids learn is to ask why.
Occasionally kids will ask complex questions that may frighten a parent. The campaign fixated on that reaction, having children ask serious questions.
To show the hypocrisy in Laws and how companies can always find ways to get around them. Ya’Qub was filmed in black and white, with children looking at the camera, to add a one on one conversation type feel.
