Manchester Metropolitan University
In the 1970’s a plot of land was gifted to Manchester Metropolitan University to be used as playing fields.
Since 1996 this plot has been left to re-wild and is now host to over 1,400 trees.
This 4.6 hectare plot is a called Ryebank Fields and is located in Manchester. Manchester Metropolitan now want to sell this land to property developers.
Each of the trees represent a tree at risk at Ryebank and Oskar asked staff and students to help assemble them and sign the petition.
The trees are made out of recycled greyboard and screenprinted with existing petitions.
