Requiem focuses on addressing the archaic, unsustainable and incredibly wasteful funeral industry of today.

It does this by removing all the environmentally damaging steps, while reducing the physical space and resources consumed in the process.

The solution works by using Resomation, a method which breaks the body down to bone ash (fertilizer) using water.

This bone ash is then inserted in a biodegradable urn and placed within a hole drilled into a fully-grown tree.

The hole is then sealed with a NFC plaque, linked to the deceased’s online profile.
