Luisa's Website

Luisa built an outdoor pavilion structure made out of discarded drawers and timber from letting boards, all found on the streets around the Wimbledon area.

The main aim of the project is to show the locals the results of consumerism on a large scale. At the same time, presenting them with this new form is a way to encourage them to prolong the life of their possessions in creative ways.

On the bigger picture, this limitation of resources and the improvised process propose alternative ways of approaching problem solving in design and construction.
