Psyche is a risograph publication which allows people to discuss a wide range of sociopolitical themes.
Through articulating shared and unfamiliar experiences, the aim is to address the need to tell stories, debate and reflect. Both Lucy and Juliette recognise the therapeutic and transformative nature of story telling and human expression and have tried to convey this.
In issue one articles discuss mental health, dyslexia, climate change, race and healing from sexual assault.
Alongside the publication itself are launch events in which contributors and others can perform their written submissions and poems or speak about issues of importance to them. These events are integral to the publication in bringing the readership together and creating a real platform for performance and discussion.
