Through the Pipeline, depicts oil extraction in the Amazon Rainforest and its impacts on indigenous communities.
The film challenges the conventional documentary genre as it uses a fictional character to tell the story through a voiceover and flashbacks.
The character, Rosa, reflects on her memories of the forest before the oil companies arrived and shows the destruction and health repercussions caused by oil spills.
