Universal Credit is a benefits system that began to roll out in 2013, condensing six benefits into one.
The system continues to let the British public down. It’s full of flaws that cause ongoing suffering and austerity.
It is simply not working for the many who rely on this system and it needs to be changed.
This project aims to highlight what Universal Credit is and what the flaws are, bringing light to the impacts that continue to be ignored by those in power and exploring how it all relates back to the number 10.
