The Arts University Bournemouth
A response to helping alleviate malnutrition in rural Zambia. This permanent clinic provides both educational and medical services to pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children aged 6 – 23 months.
A combination of participatory architecture and local materials forms the basis of this creative and positive solution, designed to be replicated amongst village communities that suffer from the same problem.
It seeks to establish an addition and improvement to the existing healthcare infrastructure, with the intention of bringing nutrition-focused healthcare closer to ‘home’.
