‘Plastic, The New Breed’ is a series of images showing 7 marine animals that are threatened by plastic pollution. The sculptures are made from clay, acrylic paint and real plastic. The plastic used in the sculptures is rubbish that
has been litter picked and accumulated over months. By combining plastic into the structure of the animal sculptures, it creates an alternate reality of sea life turning into the essence of what is polluting their environments.
