Today, more than 40 million people are living with Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease. But 65% of them don’t know it yet.

An early symptom of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s is RBD, when the body moves during REM sleep when it is otherwise meant to be still. Unfortunately this is difficult to diagnose.

In partnership with IKEA, Life Sheet is a bed sheet with integrated sleep tracking, able to detect Alzheimer’s & Parkinson’s Disease earlier than ever before.

Life Sheet is made from smart fabric that can monitor your respiration, heart rate and movements. Not only can it provide sleep data but it knows when you are in REM sleep and can therefore detect RBD.

Thereby allowing those affected by Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease to start treatment earlier and delay symptoms for several years.
