Equality + Justice
Nottingham Trent University
‘Rights Not Roses’- a chant that brave Second wave feminists shouted in street protests in the 60s. There is little knowledge on the courageous work that happened during Second wave feminism. This book brings to life the issues the movement was campaigning for; equal pay, abortion rights, job opportunities,
gay rights. Chapter Two talks about where we currently are in the fight for equality, and how the need for feminism and action is still alive today.
Using funky, bold 60’s typography, illustration, and interactive pull out pages engages the reader into joining the feminist movement.
