900 degrees is an animation piece that aims to create awareness over the current expansion of eucalyptus plantations.
This monoculture is known for its flammable characteristics, lack of biodiversity and desertification of the soils, although it keeps spreading around the globe.
Cellulose derivated industries have a particularly strong interest in these plantations because they provide fast and high profits.
Despite all the evidence and its devastating impact, the governments continue to allow the creation of more and misplaced plantations.
