Carrie is a wearable pocket for storing tampons and sanitary pads.
It’s designed to be worn discreetly underneath clothes and it’s aimed for women in male dominated environments who can face embarrassment concerning their periods.
It stores these products more hygienically and includes a detachable waterproof lining for used tampons or pads for when women do not have the facilities to dispose of these products immediately.
Carrie highlights a widespread issue on the topic of period taboo, identifying the inequalities that lie in the workplace, and empowering women by making them feel heard.
