Predetect is a device that can fit around a Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) for two weeks after chemotherapy that can detect and monitor early signs of infection using tiny smart sensors within the device.

These sensors will link to an app that will warn the patient if there is sign of infection. The sensors measure if their body temperature is over 38ºC or below 35ºC, if their pH value is between 6.5 and 8.5 and if their skin temperature soars above 30ºC.

Predetect gives patients a piece of mind, constantly monitor signs of infection and reduces hospital admissions.
