We run Design Change Maker events, where we bring together creative thinkers who are making a positive difference in the world. Some of our past events include Design Change Makers: Mental Health & Mental Health 0.2 and Design Change Makers: Conscience Consumption which was hosted at the Design Museum. We also took part in the Ellen MacArthur foundation Disruptive Innovation Festival in late 2018.

We run regular workshops at various universities across the UK as well as talks, lectures and sprints. We also run workshops for corporate partners and for those interested in creating positive change through creative thinking. Workshop focus on:

Impact, Research & Data

Through our annual global awards scheme – we work with creative thinkers to help transforms concepts and ideas into real tangible impact. The awards work as a funnel to encourage, reward and acknowledge creative ideas for social change.

Over the last 8 years whilst working in this realm of ‘social/environmental impact’ we’ve had many testimonials plus anecdotal evidence sent our way.
Stories of how, when working on projects focused on positive change, people feel a better sense of purpose, self-esteem and wellbeing, aiding better mental health.
For the last 18 months, we’ve been gathering research and data to put some hard facts behind these stories. In July we plan to publish these learnings on-line and as open source material. If you are interested in finding more about this, please join our mailing list below.

Partnerships / Networks

Over the last 6 years we’ve had the privilege to work with some great partners and now have an extended network of brilliant organisations and educational establishments. If you’d like to connect please do, we love to collaborate.

Special thanks to Design Council UK, L&Co, Social & Local, The National Lottery Community Fund, D&AD, Unilever Foundry, IBM ix, Disruptive Innovation Festival and Scriberia (to name just a few), plus all the Universities/Colleges we’ve worked with. We couldn’t have achieved what we have without you.
