IBM warmly welcomed everyone to their incredible building overlooking the Thames on glorious evening, to celebrate the creativity of our next generation of changemakers.
Winners were reminded to get the most out of the evening, and network their socks off, which wasn’t difficult as the wine flowed in the room packed with creative veterans, happy to bestow their experience.
The awards got underway, recognising 69 winning projects across eight disciplines and numerous nationalities. Names were read out under Advertising; Architecture, Engineering and Interior Design; Fashion and Textiles; Film and Photography; Graphics and Service Design; Illustration and Animation; Product and Structural Design; and Technology. There was an abundance of applause, photos and proud faces.
Paul Barlow took to the stage and kicked off his thank-you’s with praise to colleges and educators who take on the task of inspiring students every day. He thanked the judges for giving their time, experience and thoughtful consideration to dozens of projects, and highlighted the work of the trustees and members of the Creative Conscience Community. He also thanked the students for entering their work, and reassuring us all that the future is safe in their hands.
