Stephanie Mills is an architect-urban designer with a lifelong interest in the ‘drivers of change’ impacting cities. This includes how technological and social innovations are leading to new space typologies that enable a crossover between living, learning, working, production, culture and socialising.
Over three decades her work has evolved from built environment practice towards more strategic and collaborative forms of client-side briefing, participatory action research, community engagement and visioning processes.
This has involved work within, and across, a range of disciplines, sectors, organisations and networks as well as with the general public. Her aim is to develop more inclusive forms of place making by increasing social connectedness, resilience and capacity in organisations, communities and cities.
