Ken founded Hato in 2006 with Jackson. Hato began life as a risograph print studio. Both with an education in graphic design, they acted as freelance designers alongside their printing business. Over the years, this work has expanded significantly and Hato now operates as a design studio covering branding, signage and wayfinding, exhibition design, digital / interactive design and consultancy.
When time permits Ken produces his own projects, recent titles include the Cooking with Scorsese series. Ken is also active as a teacher and design judge, often talking at key design forums, institutions and universities.
