John-Paul Flintoff is a writer, performer and activist. An award-winning journalist, he worked for 15 years for the Financial Times and The Sunday Times. His stories about Kids Company, and its founder Camila Batmanghelidjh, raised huge amounts of money and helped to change government policy.
His most recent book, How To Change The World, was published in 14 languages worldwide, in collaboration with The School of Life, in London, where John-Paul has been on the faculty since 2010.
His previous book, Sew Your Own, was a serious-comic account of his own efforts to fight the battle against climate change and resource shortages by making all his own clothes, right down to the underpants. He continues to be involved in clothes-making as a board member of the Fashion Revolution movement.
