Creative Conscience + New Designers Partnership 2020

Partnerships

We are proud and excited to announce our partnership with New Designers.

New Designers is an annual graduate design showcase full of disruptive thinking, ambitious ideas and fresh approaches – a perfect partnership for Creative Conscience as we too put young creatives at the heart of everything we do.

Usually held at The Business Design Centre in London, this year’s event will take place online where new design graduates from around the country will be able to connect with design educators, professionals and consumers for creative exchange and collaboration.

Our partnership takes two forms, firstly as part of ND Connects and ND Educates, we will host talks:

  • The Power of Creativity for Social + Environmental Impact taking place on Wed 8 July 14.00 (book here).
  • Creative Thinking for mental Health + Well Being taking place on Thurs 9 July 14.00 (book here).

Our talks are part of an extensive programme of free workshops, talks, tips and guides aimed at helping graduates as they enter the world of professional design.

Secondly, we are delighted to be an award sponsor for ND Awards – a digital awards programme open to the graduate class of 2020. We have set two briefs:

  • Creative Conscience Environmental Design Brief – asking students to create or build on a project that will improve our environment.
  • Creative Conscience Social Impact Design Brief – looking for projects that will have real benefit and impact in changing society for the better.

The awards are open to university courses and will be launched on 1 July.

There are many excellent opportunities awaiting the winners and runner-up’s, such as cash prizes, featuring in New Designers specially curated digital supplement, promotion through a variety of both our social platforms as well as support from other key partners and associations – it really will be a fabulous way for students to promote themselves as they embark on their professional career path.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to New Designers for inviting us to partner with them. At this difficult time, we believe it’s vital for young designers to have a platform to showcase their work and shine and thanks to New Designers, 3,000 students will have this opportunity. We look forward to seeing the new generation of graduates use their creative talents to transform the world through our awards and joining us at our talks.

Finally, if you’re FED -UP with the World right now – why not join our new Summer School, for anyone wanting to build a social or environmental impact project to positively change our world in just 3 months. You’ll be guided through a process and supported by a community + network to make IMPACT really happen.
