Buy Less, Buy Better Impact, Inspiration

We first met Duncan when he introduced us to his project Warp Face, now, as we emerge from lockdown and shops reopen their doors, Duncan has taken positive action to raise awareness of conscious consumption and encourage a move away from fast fashion:


With the reopening of clothing stores this week, I wanted to take the opportunity to encourage shoppers to “BUY LESS, BUY BETTER”. And remind them of the impact the fashion fashion industry has on the environment.

The message was communicated through ironic “Golf Sale” style sandwich boards, positioned around Brighton’s shopping district over the weekend, prior to stores reopening. I also enlisted the help of a few of Brighton’s Vintage stores to promote the sustainability benefits of buying Vintage over High Street fashion.
